Options for Filling Your Prescription

With Empire Plan Medicare Rx, you will have access to more than 65,000 network pharmacies nationwide. You also may choose to have your prescription filled and mailed directly to your home or office using the Plan’s Mail Service Pharmacy. With the Plan's Mail Service Pharmacy, you have:

  • Personal service with a 24-hour, toll-free hotline to speak with a registered pharmacist about any questions or concerns you may have.
  • Excellent quality through confidential, tamper-resistant and temperature-controlled packaging of prescriptions.
  • Internet and refill-by-phone services to order your prescription refills 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Members have a choice to sign up for automated mail service delivery. Medicare regulations require all Part D plans to obtain patient consent before each delivery of a new or refilled prescription, unless members have opted into the auto ship refill program. The typical number of business days after the pharmacy receives your order for delivery is up to 10 days. If your mail service drugs do not arrive within the estimated time frame, please contact us toll free at 1-877-NYSHIP (1-877-769-7447) and select option 4 for the Prescription Drug Program, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
